Janelle Monáe’s The Age of Pleasure’ tour stop at the Old National Centre Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 10, 2023 began a bit late (doors were pushed back 1.5 hours) so unfortunately a couple of openers (including Jidenna) couldn’t perform. But Flyana Boss did perform and they were a lot of fun to watch. Monáe herself had a spectacular show and remains one of my favorite performers to photograph (and listen to).
