Sachyn (pronounced SUCH-in) Mital, an NYC-based music journalist and professional live concert photographer with over 10 years of experience, has built quite the portfolio from staff writer at PopMatters to concert photographer for various well-respected music outlets like Rolling Stone and Spin to NYC-centric publications like Gothamist and Village Voice. From battling in the photo pit during Green Day concerts to the annual Governors Ball, Sachyn has an eye for capturing those key moments and having them come to life in just one photograph.

What once started as a hobby in 2008 has since become much much more. He started photographing events from Guitar Hero competitions to local indie shows for Relix and Spin before reaching out to various publications to pitch ideas and further develop his portfolio. Since then, Sachyn has photographed a wide range of artists, including Sting, Muse, Patti Smith, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Charlie XCX, SZA, Radiohead, Kimbra, The Strokes, St. Vincent, Janelle Monae, Dum Dum Girls, Action Bronson and many other well-established and emerging artists,
