Awesome Annual Photo Recap – 2025 Edition

Red Baraat at Brooklyn Bowl in my 2025 photo recap
Red Baraat

2024 was a pretty huge year so it was hard to imagine 2025 to live up to it. It was pretty close though. I captured over 200 events (215 was my estimate in 2024) including 90+ for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and more than 50 (combined) for The Town Hall, Hauser & Wirth, and Joe’s Pub, plus many shows as press for BrooklynVegan, Bowery Presents and more.

Thank you to all the folks who helped me get the shots, marketing teams, publicists, managers, editors, friends and, once again, thank you, Kellindo! I also appreciate the friends who passed along my name and led me to new opportunities. Thank you, thank you!

Before photo highlights though, here are nine of my favorite albums from 2025 (alphabetical order; not all pictured). I’m not necessarily saying these are the best of the year, but they are albums I got a lot of enjoyment out of. Feel free to follow me on Bandcamp!

This year’s Summer for the City at Lincoln Center had the most booze sprayed by performers yet!

Lincoln Center‘s David Rubenstein Atrium had great comedy, trivia and tributes

The Town Hall (eclectic music, comedy, and political events)

Joe’s Pub (another outstanding Habibi Fest, comedy and more fantastic events)

Hauser & Wirth (Salon Series, artist walkthroughs, music amongst art, and photographers)

Big Acts — I wasn’t able to capture most of these professionally but I got to see Pearl Jam’s last show with Matt Cameron, Nine Inch Nails, Lady Gaga and Shakira at Global Citizen.

Notable Acts that I hadn’t seen before including Wolf Alice, Disiniblud, Tyler Childers and CMAT

Old Favorites like Janelle Monáe, Underworld, and Death Cab for Cutie (playing Plans in full!) and Ruston Kelly

Newport Folk Performances (digital) — I never actually went through images from all the sets I captured… here’s the link to Jon Bernstein’s coverage in Rolling Stone though.

Newport Folk Performances (film)

HalloQueen with Jukebox the Ghost — so happy to once again join one of my favorite bands on one of the best nights of the year!

Pleasantville Music Festival — Wonderful bands on the PamNation Party Stage + Robert Randolph and Jessica Lynn
