Chet Faker at Terminal 5 Photos (Night 1)
On Saturday night, I had the opportunity to catch Australian electronic artist Chet Faker perform on the first night of his three sold-out shows at Terminal 5 in NYC. The show was in support of his recent full-length album Built on Glass with tracks from his earlier EP Thinking in Textures. A couple of my images ran alongside Silas Valentino’s review over on the Village Voice site.
Valentino wrote about the rise of Faker and an obstacle he will face in reaching greater success, “Easily one of the most well-received moments of the evening, what “No Diggity” proves is that Faker is highly capable of mounting scores of success — but it requires his own credit. And even though tracks like “1998” and “Cigarettes and Loneliness” have what it takes, that indescribable x-factor remains the only prevention blocking his path.” A link to the whole review was just above this and his tour dates are below my photos (including his final show at Terminal 5 tonight).
